Should a photography website list prices? Seems to be a bit of a divide in the sand, my thoughts are that I don’t want to waste your time, because I’m sure you’ve got plenty of other things to be worrying about.
Before any money passes hands, I’m available to meet over a coffee, where we can go through my printed portfolio and I can show you examples of my work to see if I’m the right photographer for your wedding day.

Price
I’m very keen to keep everything as simple as possible, for both you and me. For this reason, there are only two packages I offer for weddings - a part day or a full day and then a small optional supplement to cover an additional photographer if requested.

What is included?
Engagement Shoot
The next thing we do after the first meeting (assuming you book me) is an engagement shoot which can hopefully be combined to a visit to the venue, here we can plan the big day’s photos and make an emergency plan B in case of rain! This should be done no less than a month before the ceremony. This also doubles up as an important chance for me to gauge the sort of photos you want on the day.

Full or Part Day with 1 or 2 photographers
Clearly the photography on the day is included!

Post editing
For a wedding, snapping a few thousand photos is normal – I whittle these down to one or two hundred and EVERY one of these photos will be opened and edited. Photo editing basics include straightening & cropping (there is no excuse for a wonky photo from a professional photographer). After the basics, everything else comes down to your personal preference. It is important to know if you like black and white, sepia, soft focus, colour filtering (or anything else you can describe) before the day. All this is included in the above price; it’s where the majority of my time is spent.

Shared copyright of all images
That’s right, all the images, post and pre edit. All the edited pictures will be shared online and you will receive a hard digital copy on disc(s) of originals & post edit – this means you are to free reproduce as many prints as you like, in a size and format that suits you and your guests, at no extra cost other than your high street/online printer.

Absolutely zero extra charges.

Paying:
Assuming you make a booking, I ask for 10% as a deposit, this is refundable up to 6 months before. There isn’t much call for last minute photographers so please understand this large time span. I normally request the outstanding balance when I meet clients for their Engagement Shoot.
